NATURAL LOOK: HOW TO GIVE IT A LITTLE HELP

Many women don’t want to look like they are wearing makeup but like to have a little on to bring out their favorite beauty features. Often this is referred to as creating the natural look. There are some wonderful standbys to always looking wonderful without having to put a ton of effort into it or a bunch of makeup on.

CONSIDER YOUR LIPS

If you want to achieve the natural look and still look fabulous you should think of your lips first. Your lips and your eyes are the first areas a person notices when meeting another for the first time. This makes it important to have the right product applied here. Dark lipstick obviously isn’t going to look natural. Consider any of the wonderful lip glosses that are available in pinks, roses and light coffee colors. These are easy to carry with you and will keep your lips looking naturally glossy and attractive. Wearing lip gloss can also offer some protection to your lips from the sun, depending on the brand of gloss you’re using. This will not only make you look good now it will help your lips stay looking great well into the future. Truly when it comes to looking your natural best you will want to start with your lips.

WHEN IT COMES TO EYE SHADOW

This is where many women seem to struggle the most especially in regards to the natural look. There is such a wide range of colors available to experiment with. When working for the natural look it can be easy to narrow this pallet down to shades that only exist in nature. You won’t want to layer your eye shadow on super dark if you’re going for a more natural look, or up to your eyebrows. Instead try to stick to light, earth tones.
